Judi Malar, 64, went home to our Lord and Savior on Sept. 27, 2021. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday, October 8th at Rosemound Cemetery in Waco. The family will have a visitation 30 minutes prior to service at the cemetery.
Judi was born on April 13, 1957 in Ft. Worth, Texas. She graduated from La Vega High School. In her early adult years she was a homemaker. Later, she began a career as a bookkeeper in the Waco area. In her free time, Judi enjoyed making floral arrangements, reading, gardening, and camping. She was happiest when spending time with her children, grandkids, and great-grandkids, which she considered her greatest gifts. She married her husband Gary Malar on April 20, 2006. They were married for 15 years. She spent her last year’s staying at home caring for her beloved pets, Suzy, Cricket, Daisy, and T-Bone.
Judi was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ethel Bewley; sisters, Martha Sue Schroeder and Nina Bewley, all from Waco.
Judi is survived by her husband, Gary Malar; sister, Debra Carlton and husband Charles; sisters, Charlie Bewley and Joy Johnson; daughter, April Sampson and husband Richard; daughter, Jaymi Smith; son, Billy Dale Azbell and wife Katie; step-daughter, Heather Curtis and husband Justin; step-daughter, Jenni Eastwood and husband Shawn; step-son, Gary Malar, Jr. and wife Christy; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She will be missed greatly.
