Juanita Kay Kincannon, 72 of Lorena, passed away on March 15, 2025, surrounded by her family and loved ones. A Celebration of Life will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday March 22, at Lorena Cemetery with Pastor Robyn Ford officiating. A short visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service beginning at 9:30 at the cemetery. Ms. Kincannon will lie in state from 2-4, Friday, March 21st, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home.
Kay was born November 24, 1952, to Willis T. & Sybil Alice (Lyles) Pilgrim in Waco, TX. She was an owner of Kincannon Truck Tire Retreading. Kay enjoyed traveling to Mexico, Bahamas, and Las Vegas. She enjoyed being around people, reading and watching cooking shows. More than anything, she loved being a Nana to her grandchildren, whom she loved very much.
Kay is preceded in death by her parents, Willis T. & Sybil Alice (Lyles) Pilgrim, brothers Tommy Pilgrim, David Pilgrim and twin sister Anita “Gay” Pilgrim Bricker. Most important was Kay’s beloved and cherished son Clint Brown, who passed away in 1988.
Kay is survived by her daughters, Tonya Kay Ford and husband Ryan, and Stormie Kincannon; grandchildren, Hailey Voges and husband Corbin, Carson Ford, Brodie Niswanger, Sailor Niswanger, Landon Ford, and Emma Ford; great-grandson, Hudson Voges and another on the way; her cousins, CH “Buster” Lyles and Sherry Spivey; nephews, Danny Tharpe and wife Britney, Kelly Tharpe and wife Christi; great-nephew, Joshua Tharpe, and great-nieces, Raylee Tharpe and Mia Tharpe; along with her beloved dog, Queenie.
Honorary pallbearers are Carson Ford, Brodie Niswanger, Landon Ford, Danny Tharpe, Kelly Tharpe, and Corbin Voges.
