Josephine was born March 19, 1943 to Margarito Toledo and Dolores Portillo in Rosebud, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Waco and Robinson. Josephine and her husband Ralph were members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed watching classic TV shows and Hallmark movies. Josephine loved garage sales, antique stores, and going to the mall to window shop. She didn’t have a green thumb but she enjoyed house plants and beautiful flowers. Josephine loved her family immensely and would do anything for them. She was the first one to stand up in your defense and never back down. She loved to dance in her younger years and had a good sense of humor. She will be sorely missed by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Pete and Jesse; oldest son, Tony Villafana; and daughter-in-law, Paula Villafana.
Josephine is survived by her remaining son, David Villafana and wife Monica; their son, Luke; her oldest son’s children, Cross, Ki’auna, and Tony Villafana Jr.; along with one great-grandchild, Trinity Villafana.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the loving care given to Josephine at Wesley Woods Rehabilitation and Healthcare.
