Josephine Quintanilla, 84, formerly of Waco, passed away, with her family by her side Saturday July 27, 2013 in Houston. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2 at St. Francis Catholic Church with the Rev. Roman Burgos as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm and Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Thursday, Aug. 1, at Pecan Grove F.H. at 3124 Robinson Dr.
Josephine was born April 15, 1929 in Rosebud, Texas to Nick and Margaret Gonzales.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Danny, Benny, and David Quintanilla.
Mrs. Quintanilla is survived by her husband, Dan Quintanilla; daughter Helen Saucedo and husband Carlos; sister Margaret Ballesteros; brother, Louis Gonzales, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren.
