Jon David joined his Heavenly Father, Sunday March 14, 2010. A memorial service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 16, at Faith Church, 8023 Huebner Rd. San Antonio, Texas, 78240, and will be followed by a graveside service at 5 p.m. at the Moody Cemetery in Moody.
Jon David was born Oct. 5, 2005, in San Antonio, Texas, to Jason and Amy Prestridge Ware. He will be deeply missed by the multitudes of people who have had the privilege of knowing him or knowing of him. As we mourn the absence of his presence we also rejoice in knowing that he is running and dancing on the golden streets of Heaven with his Creator.
Jon David, though you never were able to speak a word, you taught us more than we can comprehend. You have taught us all about what a family should be. You taught us to fight for our children, no matter what. You taught us that we are stronger than we think we are. You taught us that we must be strong for each other when one of us is weak. You taught us to love without boundaries and beyond what we could see or hear. We are so proud to have held you, even for a moment. Sweet angel, you have completed your mission and God has called you home. Thank you for leaving your fingerprints on our hearts. We will never forget what you have taught us. We will love you for always, our Prince.
He is survived by his parents, Jason and Amy Ware; grandparents, Mack and Kathy Wade, and Pat and Nathan Stone, all of Waco, Betty Jo Vaughn of Lake Wylie, S.C., and Richard and Roxanne Ware of New Braunfels; great-grandmother, Evelyn Smith of Wichita Falls; his sisters, McKenna and K'Lee Ware; and by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and many wonderful health care providers. Gifts in his memory may be given to The Gordon Hartman Family Foundation or The Healing Rooms of San Antonio.
