Joline Davis Day Rochell passed away Friday evening, Nov. 4, 2016, at the age of 80. Viewing will commence at noon, Monday Nov.7 with a formal visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. at Pecan Grove Funeral Home. Grave side services and interment will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Waco Memorial Park under the direction of Pecan Grove Funeral Home with Rev. Reggie Blake officiating.
Mrs. Rochell was born April 11, 1936, in Fairfield, Texas, the daughter of the late William Eugene and Evalena (Cannon) Davis where she was a 1954 graduate of Fairfield High School. On Jan. 1, 1956, she married Dennis Van Day and later married Odie Jeff Rochell in March of 1975. She was reared in a Christian home with her three sisters, Margie Nell, Delores and Donna Lynn.
Throughout her life, she pursued her God given musical talents of playing the Organ and Piano. She also enjoyed sewing and various types of needlework.
Also preceding her in death was her husband Jeff Rochell and a sister Margie Nell Mullen.
To cherish her memory, she leaves behind a son, Randy Day; five daughters, Suzanne Tunmire and husband Larry, Jeanine Lopez and husband Jessie, Betty Watts and husband Curtis, Deborah DeLillo and husband Michael; two sisters, Delores Goldsmith and husband Robert, Donna Lynn Ritter and husband Larry; grandchildren, Stacey, Billy, Valerie, Joshua, Whitney, Jessica, Jackie, Steven, Johnathan, Chris, Kevin; fourteen great grandchildren, four great- great- grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Deward Mullen and many nieces and nephews.
The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to St. Catherine’s Hospice Staff, Dr. Timothy Martindale and his staff as well as Bro. Gordon and Ms Betty.
