Johnny Salinas (Johnny Blast), 33, of Waco, TX was called home by his Heavenly Father and Savior on Sunday, June 4th 2017.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Friday, June 9th at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Johnny was born to Amelia and Jesus Salinas on August 24, 1983. He graduated from AJ Moore High School. He served in the US Navy. Johnny was baptized and was a member of First Mexican Baptist Church.
Johnny was a loving son, father, brother, and friend. He enjoyed making people laugh and had such a great smile. He was a big fan of the Baylor Bears and the Dallas Cowboys.
Johnny was preceded in death by his daughter, Marakle Faith Salinas; grandmother, Sofia Juarez, grandfather Jesus Salinas, Sr., and great-grandmother Paz Martinez.
Johnny is survived by his sons, John Ernest Salinas, Jr. and Michael Vincent Salinas, parents, Amelia and Jesus Salinas, sister, Veronica Lozano and husband Joel, brothers, Stevie and wife Andrea, Daniel and girlfriend, Marley Adair. He is also survived by grandmother, Conception Salinas and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends that will cherish his memory always.
The Salinas family is very grateful to family and friends who have reached out with comfort and prayers.
