Johnny Ochoa

Johnny M. Ochoa, age 82, of Waco passed away Friday, February 3, 2023. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, February 9 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, with Pastor Darrell Price officiating. The burial will immediately follow at Oakwood Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 8[ at the funeral home.

Johnny was born January 1, 1941 to Manuel and Emma (Morales) Ochoa in Austin, Texas. He was a very hard worker and worked in construction most of his life. He was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan. Johnny was known for his beautiful smile.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Felix Ochoa, Jimmy Ochoa, Abel Ochoa, and Manuel Ochoa; sisters, Geneva Castro and Lorenza Acosta.

Johnny is survived by his wife Marta Loa Ochoa; son, Johnny Ochoa Jr; daughter, Rose Ann Ochoa; children, Frank Loa and wife Sandy, Tony Loa and wife Brandy, Connie Loa Aguilar and husband Candance, Priscilla Pate and husband Audie, Mary Loa Duncan, Rudy Loa and wife Marisol, Rudy Ochoa and wife Michelle; brother, Lupe Ochoa; sisters, Emma Camacho, Angelina Gonzales, Susan Perez; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
