John Waters

John E. (JW) Waters, 85, of Robinson, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015 in Waco. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 20 at 1 pm at Robinson Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 19 from 5-7 pm at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr. in Waco.
JW was born April 20, 1930 in Honey Grove, Texas to the late Clarence and Vera Waters. On September 5, 1952 he married the love of his life, Anita Hill and from 1960 until now, they have been part of the Robinson community where JW was well known and loved by many. He was active in many ventures over the years, from flea marketing and antiquing to sausage making. He was great at it all. JW will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, John Michael Waters; and a brother, Kinley Waters.
JW leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 62 years, Anita Waters; daughter, Denise McKelroy and husband Tim; grandchildren, Samantha Ostrander and husband Shaun and Michael Waters, Jr.; brother, Doug Waters and wife Anita; sister, Martha Craven and husband Richard; and numerous nieces and nephews.
