John Ervin Newman, 73, of Waco passed away Tuesday July 23, 2013 in Waco, TX. Visitation will be held 10:00 am till 12:00 noon Saturday July 27, 2013 at Pecan Grove F.H. 3124 Robinson Dr. John had a love for life, his two dogs, his family, and his motorcycle. He was a lifetime member of the Waco Eagles Motorcycle Club. He raced dirt bikes just about any way they could be raced, and never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, LaVone Newman, wife of 49 years.
He is survived by three children, Johnny Newman and wife Traci, of Waco, Tammy Andrews and husband Mark, of Waco, Mindy Brubaker and husband Ryan, of Schertz, Tx, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
His family will miss him dearly, and they would love for you to join them in a remembrance on Saturday, July 27th, his birthday, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Pecan Grove funeral home.
Motorcycles are encouraged.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fuzzy Friends Rescue, 6321 Airport Rd., Waco, TX 76708 would be appreciated.
