John William Moltzer, 65, of Rosenthal, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016. Graveside service will be at 1 pm Friday, January 8, at Waco Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors from 6 – 8 pm Thursday, January 7 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco.
John was born on July 6, 1950 to Johnny and Lela Moltzer in McGregor. He spent many years working with Johnson’s Roofing, but in his spare time he enjoyed fishing and cooking on his BBQ grill.
John is preceded in death by his parents and special friend, Butch Cleveland.
Survivors include his son, John Moltzer and wife Courtney; daughter, Mindy Carter and husband Bobby; grandchildren, Heavyn, Hayden, Bryce, Sicily, Waylon, Poet, and Sydney; sisters, Gloria and Ruby; brother, Jimmy; ex-wife and friend, Annette Hendrix; along with several nieces and nephews.
