Joe Torres

Joe Manuel Torres, 67, of Waco passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014 surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 16 at 9:30am at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr. with Pastor Frank Alvarado officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday, August 15 from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
Joe was born January 22, 1947 in Waco to parents, Isabell and Teresa (Martinez) Torres. He proudly served his country in the US Army.
Joe was preceded in death by his father, Isabell Torres.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Teresa Torres; sisters, Sarah Garcia, Isabell Delgado, Inez Torres, and Christine Gonzales; brother, John Torres, II; sons, Joe Torres, Oziel Torres, Juan Torres; grandchildren Angelo Torres, Christopher Torres, Jennifer Torres, Jovanna Torres, Neida Torres, Kayla Torres, Juan Torres, Jr. and a grandbaby on the way, Oziel Torres, Jr. as well as one great-granddaughter Mariyah Torres. Joe is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members.
