Joe Bob Honeycutt, 82, of Waco, passed away peacefully at the Sunset Home Hope Center in Clifton
on Monday, November 28, 2016. . A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Oakwood Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Smith officiating. The family will receive visitors Wednesday, November 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr.
Joe Bob grew up in Mart, TX. He attended North Texas University and then enlisted in the U.S. Army. After serving 2 years, he came home and married Mary Frances Parmley, February 22, 1957. They moved to Waco where he worked at General Tire and Rubber Company for over 29 years.
Joe Bob is preceded in death by his wife Mary Frances, his son Kevin, 3 sisters Billie, Nita Beth and Joyce Laverne.
He is survived by his son Mark Honeycutt and wife Alyson; daughter Susan Gummelt and husband Frank; daughter-in-law Tracy Honeycutt. He loved his grandchildren Lindsay, Cody, Taylor and Kaden; great granddaughter, Emma.
