Joe Ann Broiles 87, of Hewitt, passed away at her home, Friday, April 25, 2014. A graveside service will be held 1 PM, Monday, April 28, 2014, at Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Buddy Sipe officiating. An open viewing will be Sunday, April 27, 2014, from 1 to 5 PM at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr.
Joe Ann was born September 11, 1926 in Waco, to Joe and Lillian Frazier. She married her high school sweetheart, John Broiles, November 26, 1944. She spent her career as a secretary, working for the V.A Hospital in Waco, Dr. Jager’s office, and retiring with Telco Systems.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 39 years John Broiles.
She is survived by her children, Jim Broiles, Joe Broiles and wife, Susan and Lisa Magness and husband, Bryan; grandchildren, Dustin and Ashley Snyder; great-grandchildren, Tyler Snyder, Tanner Snyder and Lillian Elder.
