Joan Crane

Joan Crane, 77, of Waco passed away peacefully Friday, February 28th. Services will be 11am Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Beacon Hill Baptist Church, 1912 Monte Vista Street, Waco with Bro. Harley B. Gordon and Bro. Reggie Blake officiating. The family will receive visitors Monday, March 3rd from 6 to 8 pm at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive.
Joan was born September 23, 1936 to Deanie and Joe Clancy in Limestone County, Texas. She graduated Ferris High School in 1955 and later pursued a career as a beautician.
She was preceded in death by both her parents and sister Colleen Ayles of Houston.
She is survived by daughter Keri Williams and husband Steve, son Russell Crane, daughter Kathi Mason and husband Stan, sister Bettye Gordon and husband Harley, sister Sandra Nixon and husband Bill, sister Judy Malloy and husband Bill, granddaughter Lindsey Behm and husband Chris, grandson Tim Mason, granddaughter Whitney Williams, granddaughter Makenzie Vitarius and husband Jeffrey, honorary granddaughter T.J. Stotts, and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorials to Beacon Hill Baptist Church or your favorite animal charity.
