Jimmie Milner

Jimmie W. Milner, Sr., 75, of Waco, passed away Monday, September 2, 2019. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 5, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home with Brother Ed Newman officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service, beginning at 9:00 a.m., at the funeral home.
Jimmie was born June 25, 1944, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to JW and Flora Hendrix Milner. Upon graduating from Sidney Lanier High School in Montgomery, Alabama, Jimmie entered the U.S. Airforce, serving his country for six years. He enjoyed time with family and friends, and loved to fish.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, JW Milner and Flora Alice Milner; brother, Ronald Gene, grandson, Kenneth Sorrells; son-in-law, Alan Sorrells and sister-in-law, Lucy Milner.
Jimmie is survived by his wife, Joan Milner; his children, Jody Ann, JoAnna Lynn and husband Terry, JaNette Beth and husband James F. Perkins, Julie Jinx, Jimmie, Jr., and Jonathan Milner; siblings, Jerry Milner, Bonnie Whitney and husband Marlyn, and Connie Marcott and husband Ronnie; along with a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
