Jim Bob was born on July 10, 1948 in Waco, Texas to Joe Ann (Frazier) and John Edgar Broiles.
He retired from ABF Freight and was enjoying life as being an Uber Driver, as he loved meeting new people and learning about them on his many trips to both DFW and Austin Airports. Jim was a member of Cottonwood Baptist Church and enjoyed in the years past of singing in the choir. He enjoyed just getting in the car and driving to nowhere in particular. He loved the time he spent with showing and riding horses and taking his sister to all the horse shows. Jim loved his family and friends and would do anything for them. He was the best uncle ever to his nephew and niece.
