Jesse Thomas Perry May 3, 1935 – September 27, 2014 Jesse Thomas Perry, 79, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014. The family will receive visitors 6 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco. Jesse was born May 3, 1935, in Rhea county, Tennessee to James N. and Loretta Perry. He moved to Texas at an early age. Jesse served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He enjoyed sports, fishing, and working in his garden. He worked at AMA Printing for over 30 years.
Jesse was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Lewis Perry and Charlie Perry; and sisters Ruth Gardner and Clara Hall.
Jesse is survived by his wife Rebecca of 58 years; children Michael Perry and wife Sheila, Karen Ward and husband Bill, Cindy Davis, and Mark Perry; brothers Doyle Perry and Johnny Perry; sister Marie Cox; grandchildren Jessie Ficker, Mandy Page, Jacob Perry, Reece Edenfield, Mallorie Perry, and Trenton Davis; four great-grandchildren; and his two faithful companions, Bentley and Zepplin.
