Jerry Roberson

Jerry L. Roberson 74, of Waco, passed away peacefully, Thursday, March 13, 2014. A memorial service will be held 11 am, Monday, March 17, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr. with Pastor David Cozart officiating. The family will receive visitors before the service at 10 am Monday at the funeral home.
Jerry was born, April 10, 1939, in Lorena to Joseph and Mattie Roberson. He was a graduate of Lorena High School in 1958. He served his country in the National Guard after graduation. He was employed by Command Aire and Trane Company of McGregor for many years.
Jerry loved people and always enjoyed helping friends, neighbors and family. He married the love of his life, Lillian Locke, November 2, 1990 and she passed away April 20, 1998.
He is survived by his siblings, Kenneth Roberson and wife Jackie, Shirley Landon and husband Bob, Curtis Roberson and wife Diana, and Mary Glatter and husband Ronnie; he had many nieces and nephews who will miss him very much.
We want to thank Providence Hospice for taking such excellent care of Jerry during his illness.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Woodway First United Methodist Church or Liberty Hill Baptist Church of Moody, Texas.
