Jerry was born on March 29, 1945 in Dallas to Dottie Estelle and Luke M Kilgore Jr. He attended University high school where he met the love of his life, Virginia Sue Blevins. During his retirement, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all, gardening. “Paw” as he was affectionately known, was famous for his huge garden and his massive hauls of vine ripe tomatoes. He also enjoyed putting around “the farm” in his trusty Ole Kawasaki Mule and piddling in his barn for hours on end.

Jerry is survived by son, Jerry Allen Kilgore Jr and wife, Amanda; daughter, Terri Dutschmann and husband John; sister, Linda Diane Padgett and husband Steve; grandchildren, Jason Kilgore, Cody Kilgore and wife, Kelly, Tristan Moyer, Kelsey Johnson, Korie Dutschmann, Garrett Dutschmann and wife Haley. He is also survived by his five-great grandchildren; along with his beloved pets, Sami Sue and Kitty Sue.
