March 27, 1938 — June 23, 2014

Jerry Bob Harrison 76, of Robinson, passed away, Monday, June 23, 2014. Services will be 10 am, Friday, June 27, 2014, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr. with Pastor Carry Killough officiating. Burial will follow at Robinson Cemetery. The family will receive visitors, Thursday, June 26, from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
He was born in Gatesville, Texas, March 27th, 1938 to Gerel Lee Taylor and Roy R. Harrison. Jerry graduated from Waco High School in 1957, and earned a degree in business from Baylor University. After a ten year career with Texaco, Jerry returned to Robinson, and joined the family business, Mack’s Camper Sales. Jerry was passionate about recreational vehicles and held a number of state and national leadership positions in the industry, including president of the Texas Recreational Vehicle Association (TRVA), president of the Heart of Texas Chapter of TRVA, and past-chair of the Waco RV Show. He was honored as a lifetime member of TRVA for his outstanding contributions.
He is preceded in death at an early age by his father, Roy Harrison, mother, Gerel Lee McFadden and father Elmer (Mack) McFadden, first wife, Janet Laney Harrison, and grandson, Coke Harrison Criss.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Barbara Harrison, daughter Ronda Criss and husband David, son Craig Harrison, daughters, Rene’ Coker and fiancé Gary Prikryl, and Michelle Henson and husband Jack, son David Roach, grandchildren Claire and Khaki Criss, Chad, Mark and Ryan Coker, Christen Pena, John Roach, Amy Moegelin, Deena Pino, four great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters.
An active member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church, Jerry enjoyed spending time with all three generations of his family, and keeping up with his beloved Baylor Bears.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations in Jerry's memory be made to the Karem Shrine, 400 Karem Circle, Waco, Texas 76712.
