Jerry Couch

Jerry W. Couch, 65, of Hewitt, passed away Monday, March 28, 2016 in Waco. Funeral services will be 1 pm, Friday, April 1 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr. with Bill Tracy officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-7 pm, Thursday, March 31, at the funeral home.
Jerry was born on October 5, 1950 to Dub and Ruth Couch in Fort Worth. He married Joyce Sunday. Jerry’s favorite things were cooking, gardening and shooting his guns. He served in the Air Force during Vietnam and was a man of many talents, having numerous jobs throughout his life. His most recent was the maintenance manager at the Walmart Distribution Center. Jerry was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and husband.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 41 years, Joyce; their daughter, Joy; and granddaughter, Cheyenna.
Jerry is survived by his children, Joe Couch, Jason Couch, Jeff Couch, Jeremy Couch, Anna Couch; sister, Betty Tracy; brother, Jimmy Couch; a host of grandchildren; and a large extended family.
