Jerry M. Copeland, 81, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016. A graveside service will be 10am, Saturday, Feb. 13, at Rosemound Cemetery.
Jerry was born Dec. 23, 1934, in Waco, to Ross and Lorena Copeland. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a painter all his life and upon retirement, began cattle ranching. Jerry loved watching his two boys and granddaughters play sports, and he enjoyed playing golf. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Barbara Parsons Copeland, son, Larry Copeland; four brothers, Mike, James, Bill, and Tracy Copeland; and an infant sister.
Jerry is survived by his son Roger Copeland and wife Robin; sisters, Patsy and Betty Copeland; granddaughters Kelly Copeland, and Lauren Gray; and four great-grandsons.
