JASON RALPH CROSBY
May 15, 1966
Jason was born in Midland, Texas, to Linda Bonawitz Crosby and Ralph Crosby. He attended early elementary school after moving to Lubbock. When Jason was nine he moved with his mother and step-father, to the island of Truck in Micronesia and was home schooled by his mother for two years. After moving to the Island of Saipan in the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands in 1976 he attended Mt. Carmel Catholic School through graduation.
Jason was very mechanical which led him to move to Dallas to attend Texas Aero Tech at Dallas Love Field where he earned his degree as an Air Frame and Power Plant Aircraft Mechanic and was subsequently licensed to work as a licensed aircraft mechanic. He first worked for Dal-Fort Aviation at Dallas Love Field Airport and later for Kitty Hawk Aviation at Dallas-Ft. Worth Airport. He also worked for ASA, the Dallas Connection, Champion Air and later as a cargo jet mechanic.
Jason traveled often while living in Micronesia to neighboring islands and back and forth to Texas. He spent time in Hawaii and Japan. He resided in Irving. Texas, for 26 years and lived in Waco the past two years. Jason loved working on older cars, had a large gun collection and enjoyed music and concerts. He was a Dallas Stars Hockey fan.
Jason is survived by his mother, Linda Layne, and step-father, Jack Layne of Waco, one Aunt of Missoula, Montana, and numerous cousins. He is also survived by one step brother and two step sisters.
Jason has been cremated and his ashes with be scattered on the Island of Saipan, his favorite place he lived with very fond memories.
