Janie was born May 5, 1936 to Arnulfo and Juanita Cervantez in Rosebud, Texas. Janie was a loving mother and MeeMaw. Her family was everything to her as she loved our big family gatherings. She enjoyed attending anything that her grandchildren were involved in. She also loved the Baylor Bears and Dallas Cowboys and never missed watching a game. When she wasn’t watching her sports, she would listen to her all-time favorites, Elvis and George Strait. She was a true Matriarch and our family will miss her dearly.
Janie is preceded in death by her parents; husband Fred D. Sepulveda, Sr; son Toby Sepulveda, Sr; 5 brothers, 3 sisters and infant great-granddaughter Rylan Fogle.
She is survived by her children: Edward Sepulveda; Becky Hobbs and husband Greg; Cindy Peterson and husband James “Pete”; Fred Sepulveda Jr and wife Rosie; Chris Sepulveda Sr and wife Heidi; daughter-in-law Kim Sepulveda; special brother-in-law Danny Sepulveda and wife Sarah and several nieces and nephews who cherished their “Tia Janie”. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren who loved and will forever remember their “MeeMaw”.

Honorary pallbearers include grandsons and granddaughters: Amber Sepulveda, Kistin Fogle, Ashtin King, Erica Haertner, Allison Sepulveda, Blake Sepulveda, Caydan Sepulveda and Sidonia Sepulveda.
The family would like to give special thanks to all of the doctors and nurses at Baylor Scott and White ER and ICU Departments as well as everyone who sent their love and prayers our way during this difficult time.
On Angel’s Wings you were taken away. But in my heart you will always stay. I will hear your whisper in the tallest trees, feel your love in the gentle breeze. And when I find I miss you the most, inside our beautiful memories I will hold you close. You are an Angel watching over me with the comfort and blessings you bring. You embrace my heart and hold it close, forever on Angel’s Wings.
