Janet Denise Gamble,50, of Golinda, passed away Tuesday May 6,2014. Services will be 1:30 Friday at Pecan Grove Funeral Home with the Rev. Morgan Woodard officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4-6pm Thursday at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr.
Janet was born April 20, 1964 in Waco to Herchel and Ora Lee Gamble. She attended elementary school in Chilton and graduated from Robinson High School. While attending Robinson, Janet was in the band and on the basketball team.
Janet was retired from the insurance industry. She was a long time member of Golinda Baptist Church.
After retirement, Janet enjoyed sharing the word of the Lord, spending time with her parents, sharing pictures of her nieces and nephews, and caring for her beloved dogs, which she called her babies.
She is survived by one son, Austun Ables and his wife Jenna, of Walla Walla, Washington. Her parents, two brothers, Lucky Gamble of Beckville, and John Gamble and wife Debbie of Hewitt and numerous nieces and nephews and friends. And her babies Pecan and Jr. Pallbearers will be nephews Brian Gamble,Lance Gamble,D.J. Yoder and friends Ronnie Brown,Jerry Bruce and Bill Van Cleave. Memorials may be made to Golinda Baptist Church.
