James Crumpler

November 2, 1924 — March 15, 2010

James D. Crumpler, 85 of Hewitt went home to be with his Lord and Savior Monday March 15, 2010. Services will be 3:30 PM Thursday March 18th at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr. with Rev. Paul Marshall Officiating. Burial will Take place Friday March 19th 2010 at 3 PM at Texas Veterans Cemetery in Abilene with Rev. Garland Wallace officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 PM Wednesday March 17th at the Pecan Grove Funeral Home.
James was born on November 2,1924 in Anson Tx, to L.D. and Maggie Crumpler. He served in the Air Force, and was part of the Abilene Police Force. He carried the mail in Abilene for 35 years. James was a member of the First Church Of The Nazarene in Abilene, he served faithfully in many areas in the church. He was also a member of Family Of Faith Church of The Nazarene in Waco.
James is survived by his loving wife Bonnie Crumpler of Hewitt; daughters Debra Schell and husband David of Lacy Lakeview, Cindy Brooks of Abilene, and Gwen Crumpler and Jaime Miramontez of Arlington; grandchildren Danielle Schell of Waco, Darin Schell of San Angelo, and Jasmyne Brooks of Abilene.
