James "Chris" Jackson

James (Chris) Jackson, 64, passed peacefully Saturday, August 27, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 7 at Robinson Cemetery, 620 E. Stegall, Robinson with Pastor Wayne Blackshear officiating. There will be a visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 6 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco.

Chris was born June 27, 1958 to Johnny Hunter and Nevillyn Dawn (Robertson) Jackson in Waco, Texas. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed playing the Texas Lotto, and hanging out with friends and family. Chris was known for his great work ethic, most recently as a field service tech with CTWP. He had a 10 year battle with cancer and fought the heck out of it. Chris loved his family and spending time with them, especially at holiday get togethers.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Donna Kaye Jackson.

Chris is survived by his siblings, Johnnie Jackson, Susan J. Coco, Nicky Jackson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
