Jack Ferguson

At 7:21 am on October 3rd, in the year of the Lord 2014, God called one of his children home. Jack Clint Ferguson was born September 25, 1937 in Electra, Texas. He is the son of Bonnie Loy & Ellie Gladys Ferguson who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Bettye Sue, son Bryan and wife Margaret; his daughter, Debbie and best friend Steve Duncan;grandchildren, Joseph and wife, Amy; Jason Lore and wife Chase, Keith Ferguson and wife Julie, Brittany Adair and Ethan Adair. He is also survived by brother Richard and sister Betty Jo. He will be sorely missed by his great-grandchildren Colton, Benjamin, Abigail, Brynlee, Jaxson, Lillian, Tobias, Ryder and Reygan, and numerous nieces and nephews. He met again in heaven his son Rusty and grandson Jonathan and his sister Mary Lou Cearley.
Jack grew up in Austin and graduated Austin High School and attended the University of Texas in Austin. He was a faithful member of Meadowbrook Baptist church, a member of the Masonic Lodge T. Neal Porter 1354 in Austin, and the Texas Scottish Rite, United States Army National Guardsman and a Scout Master with the Boy Scouts of America.
He will be missed by so many other friends and family. Although he left this world too soon for us, his legacy will live on forever. He believed and trusted in our Lord Jesus Christ and is with him now.
Funeral services will be 10 am, Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Meadowbrook Baptist Church with Rev. Cary Killough officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 pm at Cook Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville. The family will receive friends Monday, October 6 from 6pm to 8pm at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr.
