Iva Brown

Iva Dean White Brown joined her family in Heaven March 11, 2018. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 14, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco, with Rev. Kip Osborne officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park.
Iva Dean was born December 6, 1917, in Timpson, Shelby County, TX, to Benjamin Franklin and Minnie Louisa Ramsey White. She was predeceased by her parents and eight brothers and sisters. She graduated from Waco High School in 1935. Iva married Dee W. Brown December 24, 1946, who also preceded her in death. She lived her entire life in Waco, TX. She celebrated her 100th birthday December 6, 2017.
Iva Dean is survived by her MANY loving nieces and nephews. Our deepest and sincerest thanks and gratitude to the care givers and special friend, Rose, at St. Catherine’s, and to James Melvin Will and wife Yongie for their years of dedicated love and care to Iva Dean.
