Irene Sisneroz Olvera finished her race and received her heavenly crown in the early morning hours of Tuesday, September 13, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Monday, September 19, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 N. Robinson Dr, Waco, TX. Family will receive visitors on Sunday, September 18 from 3 to 5 PM at the funeral home.
Irene loved being in her kitchen making food for her family and tortillas for her nephews. She loved playing bingo and watching her Dallas Cowboys, watching basketball, painting her long natural nails, and going to church.
Irene was born in Rosebud, Texas to Guadalupe and Alejandra Sisneroz on February 21, 1960. She was number 7 out of 10 children. She worked in childcare for 30 years and left her mark on the hearts of so many children and co-workers. Everybody knew and loved “Ms. Irene”. She is remembered by many for her smile, her laughter, and her love for Jesus, her family and others.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Olvera; daughters, Angela Vara and husband Manuel, Jennifer Herrera and husband Fredrico; eleven grandchildren, Lexus, Andrew, David, Joel, Genesis, Adam, Jacob, Jennavida, Julissa, Jasper, and Zuly; one great-grandchild, the apple of her eye, and her king, Kartier Dre Andrus; seven brothers, John, Lupe, Raymond, Sammy, Tommy, Lorenzo, and Paul; one baby sister, Mary, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Yolanda Cuevas.
