Huhey Wayne Peebles 61, of Hewitt, went to be with his Heavenly Father, Tuesday, May 27, 2014. The family will receive visitors, Friday, May 30, 2014 from 2 to 3 PM at Waco Memorial Parks Mausoleum. Services will follow at 3 pm in the Mausoleum with Pastor Ken Riley officiating.
Huhey was born, October 23, 1952 in Waco to Garnett and Harry Peebles. He graduated from University High School in 1970. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1970 to 1973, being honorably discharged. He loved hot rods and fast boats. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Peebles and brother, Johnny Peebles.
He is survived by his son, Nathan Peebles and wife, Carrie; daughter, Kristy Gore; grandchildren, Lincoln and Ainsley Peebles and Emma and Chloe Gore; mother, Garnett Peebles; brothers, Joe and Gary Peebles; many nieces and nephews.
