Wayne was born May 17, 1943, to James L. and Mollie (Parrott) Hyde, in Waco, TX. Wayne was a master plumber for all his adult life, and it took him all over the country. He plumbed in many neighborhoods and hotels with only a 6th grade education. His grandson, Kasey Hyde, followed in his footsteps at Wayne Hyde Plumbing in Temple and Belton. Wayne had a deep love for horses and even raced a few. He loved his dogs Odie and Lucy. He enjoyed driving around the countryside, pointing out where he and his family used to live, just being outside and riding around in the truck.
Wayne was preceded in death by his wonderful mother, Mollie Wood and his father, JL Hyde; his beautiful daughter, Kristy Hyde, sisters, Mollie Jean Hammond, Kay Awad and Ginger Sharp; great-grandson, Zayne Wade; sister-in-law, Priscilla Hyde; and brother-in-law, John Sharp.
Left to survive him is his daughter, Debbie Wade and husband Steve; grandchildren, Michael Wade and wife Tiffani, Daniel Wade and wife Kelsi, Kasey Wayne Hyde and wife Julie , Rhonda Kneece and her son Lathan; great-grandchildren, KW Hyde, Jett Hyde, Connor Hyde, precious baby Blake, Zen Wade, Brazos Wade, and Shayli Wade; brothers, Jimmy Hyde, Jerry Don Hyde and wife Shirley; his sisters, Mary Nathanson and husband Robert, Becky Cox and husband Mike; many nieces and nephews that he loved so much; and too many friends to mention.
Wayne was a special man who loved his family dearly. He will be missed by all.
Love you, Daddy
