Harold Allen Glenn, 81, of Waco, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Monday, June 25, 2018 at Gerald Cemetery, 3782 Bode Road, Gerald, Texas. Pastor Charles Howard will be officiating.
Harold was born March 11, 1937 to Floyd and Ruthie Glenn in Courtney, Oklahoma. He served his country in the United States Navy. Harold was also a nurse at the VA Hospital for many years, as well as working for Fleetwood, transporting trailers. In his later years Harold went to work at The House Where Jesus Shines, as the office manager and mentor to many. He enjoyed teaching and mentoring to those trying to better themselves, and developed many close friendships there. Harold loved riding his motorcycle through the country side, before he became ill. He loved attending the Church of the Open Door, in Bellmead, where he was a member.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Daniel Glenn; and brother, Alton Glenn.
Harold is survived by his daughter, Beverly Gamber and husband Bart; grandchildren, Melissa Wright, Adam Bright, Brian, Kevin, and Rachel Gamber; brother, Doyle Glenn and wife Lynn; sister, Coleen Glenn Caravello and husband Sal; many nieces and nephews.
He also had an extended family and a very special friend, Nilsa and her husband Charles; their grandchildren, Ronnie, Tiffany, Chance, Rubin, Nino, Peter, Isabella, Kabry; and Nilsa’s sister and brother-in-law, Gladys and Cecilio; along with numerous friends.
