Harmon McHargue

Harmon Scott McHargue 96, resident of Robinson for over 50 years, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014. Services will be 1 PM, Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home 3124 Robinson Dr. with Pastor Kenneth Hodges officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home, starting at 12 PM on Tuesday, before services.
Harmon was born, April 7, 1918 in Mound, TX, to Oren and Lizzie McHargue. He worked at the William Cameron Company, with 37 years of faithful service. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and tending to his garden. He was well liked by friends, and loved by his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, and 4 sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife of 74 years, Hewlett McHargue; children, Gayle McHargue and wife, Donna, of McGregor, Iris O’Leary, of Robinson, and Judy Gray and husband, Marion, of Kerrville; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Martha Skinner, of Keller and Mary Marie Hodges of, Johnson City, TN; numerous, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Pallbearers will be, Malcolm McHargue, Chris McHargue, Oren Lee Montgomery, Chris Montgomery, Chris Brandon and Jason O’Leary.
Honorary Pallbearers will be, Joe McHargue, Wayne McHargue and Jared Radliff.
