Hank was born April 23, 1931, in Wheeling, West Virginia, to Herman and Margaret Muhlman. After graduating high school, he joined the Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War. His service brought him to Waco, TX, where he met the love of his life at the Bellmead Skating Rink, Barbara Braswell. They were married 52 years until God called her home in 2004.
Hank worked as a printer for the Waco Tribune Herald until he retired. He always attended all sports games, recitals, band concerts, and numerous programs. He also coached many teams. He enjoyed camping and playing 42 with their friends. He was lucky to have met Margaret Spencer, who he later married in 2008. They enjoyed many sunsets on their porch in Belton overlooking the lake.
Hank was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Margaret Muhlman and his sister, Sally.
Hank is survived by his wife of nine years, Margaret Muhlman; his sister, Peggy Shaughnessy; his daughter Terri Shipley and husband David; sons, Michael Muhlman and wife Donna, and Patrick Muhlman and wife Nancy; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, loving family members and friends.
