Glenda Staples

Glenda Joyce Staples, 68, of Bruceville, TX, passed away Friday, April 30, 2021. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021, from 4 – 6:00 p.m., at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco, TX.
Glenda was a warrior and the epitome of true strength. She will be missed by those who love her but we are at peace knowing she is now at Home and is no longer suffering and we find comfort knowing she is never far away as we will always carry her in our hearts.
Glenda loved her family dearly. Whether it was going to play Bingo, having her weekly “sisters” luncheon, crocheting, or just sitting and watching the hummingbirds, she was happiest when her family was together. She will always be remembered by her love for life and her family and friends.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Meredith Earl and Mary Heath; brothers, Kenneth, Dean and Earl; and her sister, Jackie.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Staples; daughter, Wendy Plumlee and spouse Dina; son, Larry Plumlee and wife Tammi; son, James Staples; siblings, Sandra Davis and husband LeeRoy; George Heath and wife Mary; Stanley Heath and wife Virginia; Donald Heath and wife Jennifer, and Billie Hughes; grandchildren, Brady and wife Kate, Chelsee, Amanda, Kendyl, Daniel, and Michael; sister-in-law, Patricia Crumbacher; brother-in-law, David Lee and wife June; along with many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
