She was a very caring and loving woman...she took care of children in her home daycare for about 50 years. She always thought of others and helped out others in need, She was a great mother, wife and grandmother to the very end. Riesel was where Gladys was born and raised until she met the love of her life B.C. Haferkamp home from the WWII they got married and started their new life together in Waco. They were married for almost 47 years until he succumbed to cancer. But they did raise a wonderful family and ended up with 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. And she loved us all with her whole heart and even her last words spoken was I love you! God rest her sweet sweet soul.
