Ginger Louise Schimschat “Lil Nanny”, 71 of Hewitt, TX, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021. The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 29, at Waco Memorial Park.
Ginger was born July 20, 1949, in Waco, the daughter of Raymond & Louise (Young) Plemons. She retired from HEB Grocery after over 30 years of service. In her earlier years, Ginger enjoyed fishing, camping, and working on the family farm. She loved playing the slots, reading, listening to George Strait, and let’s not forget NETFLIX. She was an avid fan of Texas Ranger Baseball and her Baylor Bears. She enjoyed spending time with her siblings, children, and grandchildren.
Ginger was preceded in death by her parents; Raymond and Louise Plemons.
She is survived by her children, Ronnie and Cindy Schimschat and Kim Schimschat; her beloved grandchildren, Michael “Taylor” Davis and wife Raygen, Morgan Buster and husband Travis, Logan Norwood, and Benny Boo; 4 great-grandchildren, Kaydon, Mayson, Kyler and Caysen; sisters, Marilyn Abel and husband Ricky, Pam Ramon and husband Gary, Janice McAdams and husband Edward; brother, James Plemons and several nieces and nephews.
Honorary Pallbearers: Michael “Taylor” Davis, Logan Norwood, Chris Abel, Robby Abel, Jeff Ramon and Pooky Norwood.
The family would like to thank Interim Hospice as well as Gary, Pam, Marilyn & Pooky for the special care of their mother.
