Gina Shafer

Gina Finn Shafer, 58, of Waco, passed away, Tuesday, February 14, 2023.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm Friday March 3, 2023 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive Dr., Waco, Texas, 76706 with Dr. Morgan Woodard officiating. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service beginning at 1pm.

Gina was born November 12, 1964 in Waco, Texas to Donald Sr. and Lucy Finn. She attended Robinson High School and was a member of the award winning Robinson Pride of the Blue marching band. She was a beloved Gam-Gam to her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Homer and Alby Prokisch; Raymond and Adeline Finn, and daughter-in-law, Brenda Panici Shafer, and her lovely dogs Honey and Pig.

Gina is survived by her children, Brian Shafer, Theresa Gidali and husband Brayon, James Shafer, and Michael Shafer and late wife Brenda; grandchildren, Axl Shafer, Cason Aguillard, Reese Shafer and Brynlee Gidali; parents, Donald Finn Sr. and wife Lucy; and siblings, Donald Finn Jr. and wife Kelly, Donna Finn Wiley and husband Steve. Nieces Rachel Finn and Crystal Wiley, nephews William Carter, Curtis and Ryan Finn, great nieces Ava and Zoey Carter.
