Gertrude "Trudy" Neumann

Gertrude Wollitz Neumann, 103, of Robinson passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015. Funeral services will be held 1pm Thursday, September 10 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco with Scott Spence officiating. Interment will follow at Robinson Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Wednesday, September 9 from 6-8 at the funeral home.
Trudy was born July 9, 1912 to Henry and Emma Wollitz. She married the love of her life Herbert Neumann on November 21, 1933. Trudy was an active member of Tender Loving Quilters, the Women’s Guild at St. John’ s UCC, and the Home Demonstration Club. She volunteered at Veteran’s Affairs, the nursing home, and Caritas.
Trudy was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Emma Wollitz; husband, Herbert Neumann; and two brothers.
Trudy is survived by her children, Shirley Jankowiak and husband Len, Dorothy Peevey and husband Robert, Ted Neumann and wife Doris; brother, Roland Wollitz; sister-in-law, Lucille Wollitz; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
