Gertrude Bowlin

Gertrude Bowlin, 90, of Waco, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 2, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco, with a private burial at a later time.
Gertrude was born February 15, 1926, in Waco, TX, to Ed and Minnie Shehorn. She worked in the infant room at Columbus Avenue Baptist Church Child Development Center for over 25 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marshall Bowlin; brothers, Perry Shehorn and Lloyd Shehorn; and sisters, Evelyn Laseter and Maureen Schween.
Gertrude is survived by her son, Barry Bowlin and wife Drucilla; and her grandchildren, Courtney Michelle Bowlin, Matthew Edward Bowlin, Darla Nicole Sudderth, and J.T. Koon.
