George Davis

George Warren Davis, 66, of Waco, was called by his family to his heavenly home on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held 1p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco with Pastor David Cozart officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors Tuesday, Dec. 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
George was born on November 3, 1949 in Waco and graduated from University High School in 1968. He served his country in the United States Navy stationed in Binh Thuy, Vietnam. He married Connie Chapman Pitt and their journey lasted 43 years. George and Connie are blessed with 3 children and 10 grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Connie; daughter, Kimberly Brace and husband John; sons, Michael Davis and wife Laura, Mark Davis and wife Brandi; grandchildren include, John Matthew, Joshua, and Justin Brace, Rachael, Becky, Sammy, and Sarah Chavez, Ariel, Dayde, and Walker Davis; our loving Mandi Todaro, Tasha Smith, and Baby JB.
Pallbearers will be John, Matt, Joshua, and Justin Brace, Michael and Mark Davis, and Sammy Chavez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dayde and Walker Davis.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors, surgeons, and nurses in SICU at Baylor Scott and White Hospital for their thoughtful and loving care of our George and Papaw.
