Freddie Don Holle

Freddie Don Holle, 77, of Riesel, TX, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024. A memorial visitation will be from 4 – 6pm, Thursday, December 5, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, with military honors at 5pm

Freddie was born January 12, 1947, to Fred and Catherine (Berry) Holle, in Otto, TX. He spent most of his life living in Perry, TX. Freddie proudly served his country in the US Army. After his time in the service, he went to work at the Marlin VA Hospital, retiring after 25 years. When his sons, Nathan and Jason, were young, he loved taking them looking for arrow heads. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all, Freddie loved being Papa. He spent as much time as he could with his grandkids.

Freddie was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Catherine Holle; and his two sisters, Patsy Fabianke and Peggy McCarver. 

He is survived by his sons, Nathan Holle, and Jason Holle and wife, Melissa; grandchildren, Hunter, Lilith, and Isabelle Holle; Rose Holle, mother of his sons; along with many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
