Fred was born December 6, 1942 to Fred and Doris (Seelke) Parker in Rockdale, Texas. He married Mary Ann Webb. Fred served in the US Marine Corps doing two tours in Vietnam. During this time he received the purple heart medal along with silver star and Navy achievement Medal. He was an over the road truck driver (owner operator) for over 35 years. The hardest thing was for him to stop driving because of his health, and to bury the love of his life, his sweet wife, Ann Parker; plus the loss of his brother-in-law Raymond Jimenez, his fishing buddy. Fred’s favorite pass time was watching Nascar and watching New England Patriots play football.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Ann Parker; brothers, Kenneth Dale Parker and James Harold Parker; his favorite brother-in-law, Ramon Jimenez.
Fred is survived by his sons, Darrell Wayne Parker and wife Tracy of Lykens, PA, Kevin Matthew Parker and wife Wendy of San Angelo, TX, Timothy Allen Parker and wife Renae of Weatherford, TX, James Anthony Parker of Waco, TX; brother, Larry Parker and wife Ramona of Prairie Hill, TX; sister, Deborah Jimenez of Waco; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A special thank you goes to Jill and Jason Jimenez, Fred’s niece and nephew, for their compassionate care.
