On September 30, 2014 Frankie Darrell Moore went to be with his LORD and Saviour JESUS.
Family visitation will be on Thursday, October 2nd at 5-7 p.m. at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr. Services will be Friday, October 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at Turning Point Church in Waco, Texas with Pastor Thomas Hale officiating.
Frankie was married to his high school sweetheart Glenda Moore on January 31, 1957. Frankie and Glenda have three children, son Darrell Moore, daughters Cindy Laughlin, Kim Cutbirth and her husband Troy Cutbirth. They also have four beautiful grandchildren together, Heath Brittain, Jessica Laughlin, Brooke Laughlin, and Meghan Cutbirth. They also have four great grandchildren, Kylie and Reagan Maxson, Harlee and Reese Brittain. For many years Frankie was a coach for Southern and Robinson Little Leagues and was a member of the Board of Directors. He also enjoyed coaching women’s softball after his children were raised. Frankie loved to hunt with many of his life- long friends and enjoyed their time together. He also lived to go on numerous fishing trips with his beloved brother-in-law Dean Jones. After Frankie’s retirement he and Glenda took many wonderful and memorable trips together.
Frankie was a dedicated employee at Roadway Express where he worked for 35 years. After his retirement he took great pleasure in driving his limousine where he met countless friends. He had a big, kind heart and enjoyed everyone he met. Frankie never met a stranger and was loved by everyone. He is survived by his wife Glenda, children, Darrell and his love Regina Christensen and son Mycah Moore, Cindy and Kim, all of his grandchildren, great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Peggy Osborne and husband Ralph and his sister Jimmie Lou Mabe and husband Rodney and numerous nieces and nephews. Frankie is preceded in death by his parents Louise and Ralph Moore, son-in-law Ricky Laughlin, and brother-in –law Dean Jones.
Pallbearers are Mike Brown, Dean Powell, Sam Cryan, Jeremy Stevens, Doug Mabe, James Karl, Leonard Moses
