John 14:2-6 In my Father's house are many mansions... Narrowing down the words to just a few when she has given to each of us a lifetime of joy. Frankie Jo Bourque, born March 9, 1931 in Tecumseh, Ok to Myrtle and Fred Turner. She was preceded to Heaven by her husband of 68 years, Marvin Bourque Sr. 3 brothers, 2 sisters, a daughter and daughter-in-law, 2 grand babies, 1 great grandchild.

Remaining behind to carry the wisdom and love she has shown are 2 brothers, Danny and Sonny; 2 sons, Marvin Bourque Jr. and Teddy Joe Bourque Sr.; 5 daughters, Kathy, Terry, Diane, Carolyn, and Linda. A recent pic tells of 8 children and 115 grands and great grands. Mom with the support of dad raised each of us in some manner.

Mom attended Pentecostal Holiness Church as a young lady and continued at Assembly of God in Waco. She was a woman of deep faith and showed us our 1st miracle of God in the healing of our brother Ted. It's something shared often, the God of miracles. She taught by example and love by the way she lived. Mom worked at a bakery, she was a nurse's aide, and did home care for a gentleman named Mr. Drury of Waco for several years. But mostly she took care of children, hers and everyone else's. She spoiled us and was often seen catering to picky eaters. You would never leave hungry from mom's house. Two traditions that are carrying on to the 4th generation are homemade donuts, and hot chocolate pudding, glass of milk, toast, and lots of butter.

Mom could often be found playing cards and dominoes with family, dancing with grandchildren and enjoying life. I was told, she was listening to the Gospel song " Will There Be Any Stars in My Crown " at 3:45 AM Saturday as she went to see Jesus. She always wanted family around, but more than that, she wanted each of us to join her in Heaven. May we all honor her wishes. One day let's all meet our maker in heaven, grab a cup of coffee or our favorite beverage and sit and fellowship with our Lord and mom, memaw, grandma, sister. Mom and I made such plans, let us all meet up yonder one day!
