February 25, 1944 — January 17, 2015

Floyd “DARRON” Ward passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015, at home. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 19, at Brazos Meadows Baptist Church, 625 Hewitt Drive, Hewitt, under the direction of Pecan Grove Funeral Home,with Pastor Billy Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Wortham Cemetery.
Darron is survived by Sandra, his wife of 47 years; his daughters, Katherine, Kris, and Kim, and his grandchildren, Chris, Abbie, Jesse, Emily, and Allyson. He is also survived by numerous cousins. He loved his family dearly.
Darron was active in the communities where he lived: 17 years in Lancaster, and 21 years in Mt. Calm and Hubbard. He could be found at the local coffee shop/hang outs or at church serving in some capacity, and running his repair business D&S services. Appliance and air condition repair were the bread and butter of his life, but motorcycles were his dessert. He loved motorcycles and was an active member of the Christian Motorcycle Association for most of his adult life.
