Faye Felkner

Faye Felkner, age 75, passed away May 29, 2021at 4:29 pm at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Hillcrest in Waco, TX, due to pneumonia.
She was born March 7, 1946 to Harvey and Edna Morrison. She married DeWitt Felkner on June 14, 1967. They have been married for 54 wonderful years. DeWitt and Faye have a total of five children between them: Jacky Felkner, Larry Felkner, Shonna Felkner, Tammy Felkner and Terry Felkner. They have 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Faye was the manager of Sinclair Bedding in Waco for many years. She loved giving to people and helping those in need. She received great joy from decorating God’s house with her beautiful handmade floral arrangements. She made arrangements for dozens of weddings and numerous corsages for ladies on Mother’s Day. Faye loved helping at the church with the kids in Vacation Bible School. She also loved to show her love in the many delicious meals and desserts she prepared for loved ones, church members, preachers, evangelists and musicians. She was known for her legendary Pineapple Upside Down Cake, Banana Nut Cake and Banana Pudding. Most of her life, her hands were rarely still and she would give when she had not and help though she suffered with pain. Her greatest joy was in making a lifetime of unforgettable memories with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Please join us celebrating her life. Visitation will be held at Pecan Grove Funeral Home on Thursday, June 3rd. between 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Cornerstone Baptist Church on Friday at 11:00 am. Officiating the service will be Bro. Jim Daniels.
