Faye Broseh, 95, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 31, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco, with Raymond Stiner officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 30, at the funeral home.
Faye was born September 27, 1927, in Gorman, TX, to Alvin and Ila Cogburn. She married Joel Broseh on August 9, 1948, living in Dublin, TX. Shortly after, they moved to Waco, finally settling in Hallsburg in 1963. In 1999, she moved to the DFW area to be close to her children and grandchildren. After raising their children, Faye worked as a teacher’s aide, cook in the cafeteria, and school bus driver for Hallsburg school district. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and canning. More than anything, she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was very involved in their activities. Faye was a devoted Christian woman. She loved the Lord from a young age and was an avid reader of the Bible.
Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Joel Broseh; her parents; daughter-in-law, Carol Broseh; and all her siblings.
She is survived by her children, Joel Mack Broseh and wife Cindy, Larry Don Broseh and wife Cindy, Debbie Broseh, Randy Broseh and wife Patty, and Dawn Bowers; grandchildren, Lana, Jennifer, Ashley, Amber, Jeffery, Brandon, Josh, Tori & Tayler; 16 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
